As the intelligence community’s leader in advanced miniature RF/microwave products and solutions, DRS-SS offers products with frequency coverage spanning 100 kHz to 40 GHz. DRS-SS has supported the design and integration of Navy, Air Force and Army SIGINT platforms, including JTWS, ACS, MFEW, SSEE, Rivet Joint, COBLU and Guardrail. DRS-SS experience includes the development and production of pseudo doppler, N-channel correlative vector, MUSIC superresolution and interferometer geolocation systems and antennas. DRS-SS products like its wideband VHF/UHF tuners with switching times of less than 40 µs support coherent operations such as direction finding and beamforming applications. Intercept points and noise figures are optimized for high dynamic range performance. As a founding member of the VITA-49 standards committee, DRS-SS has led the industry to a standard approach of digitally linking wideband tuners to COTS digital signal processing engines. This standard addresses both coherent and time stamped issues for tuner output data correlation. |
