Medical BenefitsMedical insurance represents the largest component of our benefits plan. We will provide our employees with three medical plan choices. While all of the plans cover the same types of services, each provides coverage at a different level and requires you to contribute a different amount per pay period toward the premium. Dental BenefitsGood dental health is important to your overall well being. At the same time, we all need different levels of dental treatment. It is for this reason that we offer such a comprehensive dental plan. Vision BenefitsA voluntary vision benefit provided through one of the nation's largest providers of eye care coverage can be elected to cover yourself and your eligible family members. The plan provides affordable, comprehensive vision care coverage. Flexible Spending AccountsDRS gives you the option to redirect a portion of your pay through payroll deduction into Flexible Spending Accounts. These accounts provide you with the ability to set aside money on a pre-tax basis for any IRS-allowed health expenses not covered by your health care coverage or for day care expenses for your child, disabled parent, or spouse that enables you and your spouse to work. Qualified Transportation PlanThis benefit allows you to pay for part or all of your qualifying work-related transportation costs on a pre-tax basis, including transit passes, qualified parking, or commuter highway vehicle transportation. Employee Assistance ProgramThis program is administered by an independent professional counseling and training organization. They recognize and support the realities of daily life. Individual and family-focused benefits and support services are offered through this program. Additional Health BenefitsThe following health care programs and resources are available to enrollees in our health plan: Healthy Rewards®, 24-hour health information line, and a hospital evaluation performance tool. |
